​Mr. Al-Ajjaji previously worked as an Assistant Undersecretary for Planning and Governance at the National Systems Agency at the Ministry of Finance from 2017 until the transfer of the agency to the Center in 2021. He also worked between 2007 and 2017 as Director of Application Development. He then took the position of Director of Information Technology at the Saudi Authority for Industrial Cities and Technology Zones, where he was responsible for developing systems and applications at the General Authority for Investment between 2002 and 2007. Professor Al-Ajjaji obtained a Master’s degree in Business Administration (MBA) from Al-Faisal University, and a Bachelor’s degree in Computer and Information Sciences in the field of Information Systems from King Saud University. He completed a number of courses in management, leadership and technical skills from a number of international institutes such as: IMD Institute, Chicago Business Institute, PMI Institute and others. During his work at the Ministry of Finance and the Center, Professor Al-Ajjaji led a number of initiatives, projects, joint committees, and preparing the digital strategy for the Ministry of Finance. He also served as a member of the Steering Committee for the Government Investment and Procurement Program at the Digital Government Authority, and a member of the National Committee for Unified Access at the Saudi Authority for Data and Artificial Intelligence. He represented the Ministry of Finance and the Center in several committees in the Experts Authority within the Council of Ministers, and in a number of other government agencies in various fields, including digital transformation, information technology, competitions, and government procurement.
